PRIVACY POLICY

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998) and according to the Which? Web Trader Code of Practice.
We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service.We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent. We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing e-mail from us at the bottom of our e-mails.

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent. The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law and the Which? Web Trader Code. We may use technology to track the patterns of behavior of visitors to our site. We do not disclose any of your information to third parties. Cookies are used in our online shop to keep track of the contents of your shopping basket once you have selected an item. If cookies are disabled then you will not be able to put items in your shopping basket.

SECURITY POLICY

We have an effective security policy that we review regularly.

All credit card details are processed online using the Barclays ePDQ system, which uses secure 128 bit encryption over an SSL (secure socket layer) connection. Credit card details are not stored after they have been processed.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We are selling perishable goods, which are made to your specification. There isn't much time to cancel an order however, by calling us on 01536 400557 within 48 hours of placing your initial order, the order can be cancelled with all money being returned within 30 days.

RETAIL ORDERS

Payment by credit card, cheque, postal order or money order in advance of dispatch.

Title of goods for (retail customers)

Goods supplied by Redwood to customers remain the property of the company, until paid for in full by the customer.

PRICES

Orders are subject to acceptance by the company and to availability of goods and will be invoiced at prices ruling at the time of acceptance. Redwood reserves the right to substitute products of equal or greater value to compensate for out of stock items.

DELIVERY/SHIPPING

Order are subject to no minimum order value. Orders placed will be delivered within 14 days maximum, unless we have contacted you and agreed alternative terms. (Usually orders are dispatched within 72 hour of receipt of order as long as all goods are in stock, if something is out of stock we will notify you before the goods are dispatched) Alternatively you may wish to collect your order from our offices by prior arrangement.

We will endeavor to send out your order as soon as possible, normally to be delivered on the next working day. Please note that deliveries cannot be made on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. When ordering, you will be asked to choose a day of delivery. Please ensure that you are available to receive your delivery anytime between 9am and 5pm that day. If you are not there to receive your delivery, a note will be left and it will be your responsibility to pick it up from the depot.

Deliveries can only be made to the UK mainland, with a few exceptions for addresses in the Scottish Highlands. In these cases, deliveries cannot be made due to the courier being unable to deliver the chilled food overnight.

DELIVERY CHARGES

All deliveries are sent by courier and deliveries can be made on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The following shipping charges apply:

Someone needs to be available at the customer's elected delivery address.

CLAIMS

In the event of a claim needing to made please contact us via telephone:01536 400557 or e-mail: info@redwoodfoods.co.uk within 48 hours of the delivery.

All goods must be checked and counted upon receipt. Any shortages must be indicated on the delivery sheet at time of delivery.

All goods must also be checked for damage upon receipt. Any damage must also be indicated on the delivery note at the time of delivery.

No claims will be entertained unless the above conditions are strictly adhered to.
No credit or refund will be give for any goods ordered in error by the customer.
No credit or refund will be given for any losses due to the incorrect storage or merchandising by the customer, of any goods supplied by Redwood. Please read and adhere to the care instructions that are supplied with all our products.

None of the foregoing effects your statutory rights as a consumer.

If you find that you are not satisfied with any product or service please feel free to contact our customer service department at info@redwoodfoods.co.uk

We will endeavor to resolve any claim made a soon as possible.

MISTAKES IN PAYMENTS

Any mistakes in payments will be rectified as soon as possible, and at the latest within 30 days of agreeing to do so.

GUARANTEE

All goods offered by the company are guaranteed to meet statutory requirements. However, the company cannot accept responsibility where goods supplied are subject to further processing or repackaging by the customer.

We accept credit card payments with most popular cards. In addition, you may pay in advance by posting a cheque to us with your mail order form.

All of our food products are zero rated for VAT purposes.
